The canvas RECORD 62 awarded the Provincial Prize at the XXXII López-Villaseñor Visual Arts Competition
On 22 December, the group exhibition of the XXXII López-Villaseñor Visual Arts Competition opened. I participated in the show with the canvas RECORD 62, which received the Prize awarded by the Provincial Council of Ciudad Real.
The opening ceremony was graced by the presence of the Mayor of Ciudad Real, Mr Francisco Cañizares, and the Councillor for Culture, Mr Pedro Lozano.
The exhibition is being held at the López-Villaseñor Museum, and will remain on display until 18 January.
RECORD 62 (oil on linen, 195 × 162 cm) is part of the RECORDS project, which began with a four-month artistic residency in desert, steppe, tundra, and taiga regions across Xinjiang (China), Mongolia, and Buryatia (Russia).
